Chelmsford Police Respond to School Bus Crash

CHELMSFORD — Chief James Spinney reports that the Chelmsford Police Department responded to a crash involving a school bus this afternoon.

At approximately 3:35 p.m. officers were dispatched to Proctor Road near the intersection with Tuttle Road for a report of a bus crash. Upon arrival, officers learned that a bus had collided with a utility pole. Students who had been on the bus at the time of the crash were evacuated from the vehicle. There were no injuries reported.

Chelmsford Police are continuing to investigate, but the cause of the crash is not known at this time.
