Easton Fire Department Responds After Worker Struck By Tree

EASTON — Chief Kevin P. Partridge reports that the Easton Fire Department responded after a utility worker was injured by a falling tree this morning.

At 8:43 a.m., the Easton Fire Department received a report that a man had been injured while working near 7 Elderberry Rd.

Easton Fire Engine 5, Ladder 1, Ambulance 2 and Car 5 responded to the scene and, upon arrival, found that a man had removed himself after being initially trapped under a tree that had fallen on him.

The man was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
