TYNGSBOROUGH — Chief Richard Howe reports that the Tyngsborough Police Department is on scene at a cement truck rollover and are urging motorists to avoid the area.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., Tyngsborough Police received a report that a cement truck had rolled over on Middlesex Road near the entrance to the Pheasant Lane Mall. Tyngsborough Police responded to the scene, along with Tyngsborough Fire and Nashua Police.

Tyngsborough Police ask that motorists avoid the area as crews remain on scene working to upright the truck, which is full of cement. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Tyngsborough Police Department, however, police believe that speed may have been a contributing factor. The driver suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
