Town of Maynard Economic Development Committee Launches New Business Map

MAYNARD — Town Administrator Kevin Sweet is pleased to announce that the Maynard Economic Development Committee has designed a new map of local businesses and key destinations.

The EDC created the complimentary map after meetings were held with local business owners to help gain a better understanding of the needs of their businesses. Town Planner Bill Nemser describes the EDC effort as “a proactive approach to cultivating a stronger business environment.”

The map, which will be maintained and updated periodically by the EDC, will be distributed to local businesses, public buildings and other high-traffic locations.

“It is crucial that our business community understands how valued they are by the Town. Anything our local businesses think we can do to help them succeed, we want to know about it,” Town Administrator Sweet said. “I encourage business owners and residents to get involved in making Maynard an even more dynamic destination to do business by attending our EDC meetings each month.”

Maynard EDC meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 8 a.m. at the Maynard Town Hall, 195 Main St.
