NEMLEC Foundation to Host Crime Scene Preservation for First Responders Seminar

DRACUT — The NEMLEC Police Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce it will host a two-day Crime Scene Preservation for First Responders seminar next month.

The training will be held on Oct. 17 and 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cross Point Towers, 900 Chelmsford St. in Lowell. Registration and coffee will be at 8 a.m. on Oct. 17.

This seminar will cover topics including crime scene identification, documentation and preservation of evidence, legal issues concerning death investigations and sexual assaults, and motor vehicle stops and drug investigations.

The course is $100 per person for both days and includes a continental breakfast as well as lunch and dessert. The training is open to all supervisors and patrol officers.
