Bridgewater Police Mourn the Death of K-9 Dunaj

It is with sincere sadness that the Bridgewater Police announce the death of our Police K-9, Dunaj (pronounced Dunney). Dunaj was born on July 2, 2004 and died today, May 23, 2017.

Dunaj began his service with his handler, Officer Steven Kingsley, on Feb. 1, 2006, when he and Officer Kingsley started the K-9 training academy. Dunaj retired from Police service on April 1, 2016 after completing 10 years of service. He continued to live with officer Kingsley and his family for the rest of his life.

Dunaj was 12 years old.
