The Psychological Center Receives $2,500 Grant from Essex County Community Foundation

LAWRENCE — The Psychological Center, Inc. (TPC) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $2,500 grant from the Essex County Community Foundation (ECCF).

TPC received the grant from ECCF’s Merrimack Valley General Fund, a field of interest fund serving agencies in the areas of arts and culture, education, social and community services, and youth service in the Eastern Merrimack Valley.

Funds from the grant will be used to help support TPC’s programs — Daybreak Shelter, Pegasus House and Women’s View — which have 80 beds combined to assist individuals struggling with addiction and homelessness.

“We are so thankful for the generosity of organizations like the Essex County Community Foundation who help support our programs,” said Carina Pappalardo, CEO of The Psychological Center. “Because of their kindness, more of our guests will be taken off of the cold streets and given a hot meal and a warm place to sleep.”
