Groveland Police Invite Community to Attend 2nd Annual Pumpkin Fest
GROVELAND – The Town of Groveland invites the community to attend the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Fest later this month.
For one special night, a variety of carved pumpkins will be illuminated in front of Town Hall to celebrate the fall season and Halloween.
“Everyone who attended last year’s event had a lot of fun and we were pleased to see so many people contribute to the pumpkin carving display,” Selectman Chair Bill Dunn said. “This is a great community event for all ages and we hope people will come out and join us again.”
WHERE
Town Hall, 183 Main St.
WHEN
Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Carved pumpkins may be dropped off at Town Hall beginning on Oct. 19, and can be added to the display until Oct. 26, prior to the lighting.
WHAT
Groveland officials are encouraging everyone to show off their pumpkin carving talents for Pumpkin Fest.
During the pumpkin lighting, officials will also provide trick-or-treat safety bags, candies, a bounce house for children, hay rides and more.
The event wouldn’t be possible without the organizers:
- The Board of Selectmen
- The Langley Adams Library
- The Groveland Police and Fire Departments
- Denise Dembkoski – Groveland’s Finance Director
- Residents Bill and Theresa Dunn
- Debra Stewart
Groveland officials would also like to thank all those who are generously donating time or materials to this great event and will publicly thank them after the event.
