*Media Advisory* Gloucester Fire Department to Host Sept. 11 Observance Ceremony

GLOUCESTER — Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken and Chief Eric Smith announces that the Gloucester Fire Department will host an observance ceremony next month to honor the lives of those lost in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

WHERE

Gloucester Fire Station, 8 School St. Residents should note that there will not be parking available near the fire station.

WHEN

Sunday, Sept. 11 at 9:45 a.m.

WHO

The Gloucester Fire Department, Gloucester Police Department, Gloucester’s Office of Veterans’ Services and the United States Coast Guard.

WHAT

Officials and members of the public will take part in the Gloucester Fire Department’s annual Sept. 11 Observance Ceremony to honor all the lives that were lost on Sept. 11, 2001 and as a result of the war on terrorism since that day.

This event is free and open to the public.
