BEDFORD, N.H. — Chief John Bryfonski is pleased to announce that the Bedford Police Department hosted their fourth annual open house for the local and surrounding communities Tuesday evening.

The open house, held at the Bedford Public Safety Complex, included a tour of the department’s Incident Command Center, an interactive seat belt safety ride, and tours of the updated advanced Communications Center. A SWAT dog and the New Hampshire Fire Marshall’s arson detecting dog conducted demonstrations with their handlers. McGruff, the Bedford Police Department’s mascot, was also in attendance.

Bedford Police hosted over 100 people overall at the event.

“We are proud to open our doors to the general public and host the annual Open House,” Chief Bryfonski said. “It’s a great way to further connect with our community and allow them to glimpse some of the high-level work we do in a safe, fun environment.”
