Tyngsborough Police Investigating Suspicious Devices Found on Power Lines

TYNGSBOROUGH — Chief Richard D. Howe reports that the Tyngsborough Police Department is investigating suspicious devices found on power lines behind Locust Avenue today.

Tyngsborough Police, the Massachusetts State Police, the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were on scene this morning after receiving a report of devices on power lines.

Police determined there was no apparent danger to the public and the devices have been secured. An area search by personnel and helicopters is ongoing to determine if more devices are in the area. The matter remains under investigation.
