Groveland Police Department Welcomes Officer Adam Sanborn

GROVELAND — Deputy Chief Jeffrey Gillen is pleased to announce that Officer Adam Sanborn of the Groveland Police Department graduated from the Methuen Police Academy last week.
Officer Sanborn completed 25 weeks of intensive training, held on the campus of Northern Essex Community College, on March 18.
“I’d like to congratulate Officer Sanborn on his extraordinary performance at the academy,” Deputy Gillen said. “He has been an asset to our department, and I am confident he will continue to do so now that he has completed the advanced training course offered by the Methuen Police Academy.”
During his graduation, Officer Sanborn received a trophy in recognition of his outstanding performance in the combat course. Officer Sanborn is from Bradford and holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
Officer Sanborn, age 26, currently serves as a reserve officer and has been with the Groveland Police Department since July 2014.
