Andover Police Investigating Bank Robbery

ANDOVER — Police Chief Patrick Keefe reports that the Andover Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Thursday afternoon on Main Street.

Andover Police Responded to the Santander Bank, located at 71 Main St. A police department investigation has revealed that a man walked into the building at 3:30 p.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding money. He left with an undisclosed quantity of cash and fled in an unknown direction.

No weapon was shown, and no one in the bank was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, about 5’8″ to 5’11” tall, with an average build. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt, a dark-colored New England Patriots baseball cap, blue jeans, and dark sneakers with light colored soles.
