ASHBURN, Va. — The Paraben Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of its newest computer forensics software, P2 Commander (P2C) 4.3, which includes several new features and upgrades.

P2C 4.3P2 Commander, a comprehensive digital investigation tool with over 10 years of court-approved use by forensic examiners, gives investigators everything they need to present their findings in a repeatable and visually pleasing way. The top-of-the-line computer forensics software offers advanced features like data triage analysis, gaming console support, email support, hash database management, pornography detection, and file sorting along with comprehensive reporting and a case audit trail.

The newest features of P2C 4.3 include:

  • Windows 10 Support
  • Malware Scan for portable executable files
  • Safari 8 History
  • Voicemail parsing for iOS 8 Backup evidence and iOS 9 encrypted and not-encrypted backup support.

In addition, the email message printing feature has been improved to add embedded messages to the list of attachments when printing a message and the parsing of all email databases has been improved. P2C 4.3 has also resolved several issues including possible problems with parsing, file sorting, and keyword indexing of Encase images with large chunks; parsing of NTFS images; Data Triage parsing on logical system drives; working with raw disk images; search result exporting; and minor performance issues.

P2C 4.3 now also separates the tasks of sorting and keyword indexing so the user is able to utilize resources of their system and their time.

The product now also supports the analysis of mobile device data acquired using Device Seizure (DS)

“Our goal is to provide the highest quality software at a price our customers can afford,” said Amber Schroader, CEO and Founder of Paraben Corporation. “This new version of P2 Commander provides every tool that investigators could possibly need for computer forensics in one piece of software.”

The software is equipped with a built-in database and plug-in architecture designed for stability as it processes data, performs searches, filters and exports, and generates comprehensive reports. P2C 4.3 is multi-threaded which allows users to utilize more of a computer’s processing power by running multiple tasks simultaneously.

The cost for a full one-year license is $1,495 and includes:

  • Free one-year subscription with purchase
  • P2 eXplorer Pro for virtual image mounting
  • DP2C for targeted data triage collections
