Gloucester Police Chief and Mayor to Announce Appointment of Domestic Violence Officer
GLOUCESTER — Police Chief Leonard Campanello and Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken will be joined by domestic violence advocates from around Gloucester and Cape Ann to meet members of the media on Thursday to announce the appointment of a the Gloucester Police Department’s first Domestic Violence Officer.
Gloucester Police Officer Ronald Piscitello, a 20-year veteran with a background in social service work, will be appointed to the new position.

WHAT:
Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken and the City of Gloucester are committed to preventing and ending domestic violence and providing support systems for victims. As such, Chief Leonard Campanello has been directed to appoint a specialized Domestic Violence Officer.
Officer Robert Piscitello, a 20-year veteran of the Gloucester Police Department, will be formally appointed on Thursday.
