Littleton Police Arrest Two Alleged Burglars Overnight

LITTLETON — Police Chief Matthew J. King reports that the Littleton Police Department arrested a man and woman early this morning who allegedly entered a home without permission.

STACIA M. KORBEL, AGE 37, OF MAYNARD and DAVID J. BOWMAN, AGE 39, OF WESTFORD, were arrested shortly after police received a 2:30 a.m. phone call from a Hartwell Avenue resident, who told police that she had returned home to find two people inside her home.

KORBEL is known to the resident but it not allowed to be in the residence when the resident is not present. The resident told police that the suspects allegedly entered the home, consumed alcohol and food and knocked over and broke a vase. The two suspects fled in a white vehicle, a description of which was broadcast by Littleton Police to neighboring departments.

Groton Police quickly located the vehicle as it crossed the town line, and officers initiated a traffic stop. The suspects were arrested and charged with Entering a Dwelling at Night for a Felony. They were ordered held on $500 bail pending their arraignment later this morning in Ayer District Court.

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
