Chelmsford Police Department Announces Promotion
CHELMSFORD — Police Chief James M. Spinney is pleased to report that Chelmsford Police Officer Jason Poor was today promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
“Sergeant Poor is a true professional whose conduct and actions are consistent with the highest standards of law enforcement,” Chief Spinney said. “His peers and colleagues know that they can depend on him, and his work is always diligent and thorough. We wish him the best as he assumes new duties in the department.”
Sergeant Poor was hired as a full-time patrolman in 2006. He is also a certified motorcycle officer and volunteers his time with the Chelmsford Police Athletic League.
