Media Staging for “Cards 4 Danny” Event in Foxborough on Saturday

FOXBOROUGH — On Saturday, police and fire officials from around the region will descent on Gillette Stadium for a memorable 6th Birthday Party for a local boy battling cancer.

WHAT:

Police and Fire Officials are teaming up with Gillette Stadium and CBS Scene to have a Public Safety Themed birthday party for Danny Nickerson. Danny is a 5-year-old boy from Foxboro who has been diagnosed with an inoperable and chemotherapy resistant brain tumor known as Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma.

According to an ABC news report, Danny is a fighter. He endured 33 radiation treatments in November and December and is now undergoing chemotherapy every two weeks.

Danny is a fan of Lego toys and the Super Mario Bros.
