Town Seeking Those Interested in Serving on Maynard Economic Development Committee

Residents and Business Owners Would Help Maintain Maynard’s Diverse Economic Base

MAYNARD — Town Administrator Kevin Sweet announces that the Town of Maynard is seeking two at-large residents and/or business owners who are interested in serving on a newly formed Economic Development Committee.

“Maynard has always been grateful for its thriving, diverse business community. The Economic Development Committee will be in charge of making sure our current businesses have the resources they need to thrive, while continuing to make Maynard attractive for new businesses,” Town Administrator Sweet said. “This is a great opportunity to get involved in town government.”

The committee is charged with supporting Maynard’s business community with creative ideas and programs that will serve the town’s existing business community and make Maynard attractive for new business to locate here.

The committee is looking for motivated, energetic, and creative types who take pride in their town!

The committee will be comprised of Town Officials, residents and local business leaders.

Expertise and/or work experience in the real estate industry would be welcomed.
