Wenham Police and Fire Team up with Council on Aging to Host Senior Luncheon May 21

Will Unveil New Program for Seniors who Wander from Home or Go Missing

WHAT:

Wenham Police Chief Thomas C. Perkins and Fire Chief Robert A. Blanchard announce that their departments have teamed up with the Wenham Council on Aging to host a fun, informative, free luncheon for seniors!

Public Safety Officials will be discussing fire safety, internet fraud, pedestrian safety and unavailing a new program called Operation Safe Net. This program will encourage residents with a relative experiencing Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or any ailment that may cause them to
wander off to preregister biographical info/descriptions with the Police Dept. in order to avoid spending the vital first 30-45 mins being spent obtaining such information when and if someone goes missing.
