Wakefield Police Seeking Information on Missing 14-Year-Old Girl Who Ran from DCF Program in Town
Wakefield Police Chief Rick Smith announces that Wakefield Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl who ran away from a Department of Children and Families program in town recently.
Rosalinda Chavez has been missing since March 7. She was dropped off at Everett High School, where she is a student, and she has not been seen since. She has a history of running away, and Wakefield police believe that she may be in danger.
Rosalinda is a Hispanic female, with light skin, 5’5” tall, weighing about 160 lbs.
Wakefield Police have notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and police in Boston, Everett, and New York have been notified to be on the lookout for her. Anyone with information on Rosalinda’s whereabouts is urged to call Wakefield Police Detective Sergeant Richard DiNanno at 781-245-1212.
