
RAYNHAM — Chief Bryan LaCivita reports that the Raynham Fire Department extinguished a fire at a mobile home yesterday afternoon.
On Sunday, Aug. 6 at 1:22 p.m., the Raynham Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at a mobile home at 51 Easy St.
Upon arrival, Raynham firefighters found smoke coming from the front of the mobile home. Crews worked to knock down the flames and the fire was declared under control by approximately 3 p.m.
Mutual aid was provided at the scene by the Raynham Police Department and Brewster Ambulance.
No one was home during the fire and there were no injuries.
The unit was deemed uninhabitable by the town building inspector. One resident is displaced and is being assisted by friends and family.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Raynham Fire Department.
“I would like to commend both Raynham Fire and Raynham Police personnel for another excellent team effort to bring this fire under control safely, quickly and efficiently,” said Chief LaCivita.
