Plainville Fire Department Responding to Multi-Alarm Fire 

PLAINVILLE — Chief Richard Ball reports that the Plainville Fire Department and mutual aid partners are battling a multi-alarm fire on Treasure Island Road.

PLAINVILLE — Chief Richard Ball reports that the Plainville Fire Department and mutual aid partners are battling a multi-alarm fire on Treasure Island Road.

On Thursday, April 20, at 5:05 p.m., the Plainville Fire Department was notified by a 911 call of a structure fire at 12 Treasure Island Road. 

The first companies on scene found a fully-engulfed two-story home. Multiple alarms were struck to bring additional manpower to the scene. 

Efforts to battle the blaze remain ongoing, but there have been no reported injuries. 

Firefighters from Wrentham, Foxborough, Mansfield, Franklin, Norfolk, Bellingham, North Attleborough and Cumberland are providing mutual aid at the scene, along with a rehab truck from Mansfield. 

Additional information will be released later tonight once the fire is fully extinguished.
