BLACKSTONE — Chief Gregory Gilmore reports that the Blackstone Police Department responded to a crash this afternoon involving a school bus and a motor vehicle.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mendon and Main streets. At the time the school bus was transporting elementary school-aged children home following the conclusion of the school day.
Multiple students from the bus were evaluated at the scene and taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution. The driver of the motor vehicle was also transported to a nearby hospital with injuries sustained in the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Blackstone Police Department.
