DRACUT — Chief Peter Bartlett reports that the suspect wanted in Dracut for multiple counts of aggravated rape of a child was arrested in Lawrence last night by the Lawrence Police Department.
GABRIEL YEPEZ, 43, OF LAWRENCE, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with:
- Aggravated Rape of a Child (three counts)
- Rape of a Child With Force (three counts)
On Nov. 16, following an extensive investigation, Dracut Police Department detectives obtained an arrest warrant from Lowell District Court charging YEPEZ in connection with a series of assaults involving a child known to YEPEZ.
YEPEZ is expected to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Wednesday.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
