Pepperell Police Welcome Two Officers to Department

PEPPERELL – Chief David Scott is pleased to announce that two officers have joined the Pepperell Police Department.

During a Board of Selectmen’s meeting on Monday night, Officer Daniel D’Eon and Officer Daniel Adams, both residents of Pepperell, were appointed to their new roles. They replace two officers who recently retired.

“Both of these officers bring a wealth of experience to this department from their previous positions in other communities,” Chief Scott said. “We know they will be an asset to Pepperell and our residents.”

Officer D’Eon came to Pepperell from the Wilmington Police Department, where he worked as a full-time officer for the past 10 years. From 1986 to 2013, he served in the U.S. Army, first on active duty, with two oversees deployments (Cuba and Afghanistan) to support Operation Enduring Freedom, and then as a member of the Army Reserve. Officer D’Eon is a certified Rape Aggression Defense Instructor and is certified by COBWEB (Cops on Bikes With Education for Bicyclists) for bicycle patrol.

Officer Adams served as a reserve officer with the Dunstable Police Department since 2013, before deciding to attend the Northern Essex Community College – Methuen Police Department Academy as a self sponsor in 2015. He is certified in the Emergency Vehicle Operators Course and All Terrain Vehicle safety course.
