Natick Police Investigating Motor Vehicle Crash Involving Pedestrian

Seventy-Six-Year-Old Man Suffers Serious Injuries

NATICK — Chief James G. Hicks reports that the Natick Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash that left an elderly pedestrian seriously injured tonight.

Around 6:15 p.m., police received a report that a 19-year-old man, driving a Honda Accord, had struck a 76-year-old man who appeared to be crossing Mill Street from Ranger Road.

The victim was taken by a medical helicopter to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester with serious injuries.

Mill Street is currently closed while Natick Police and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Sections investigate the scene.

Speed does not appear to have played a factor in the crash, but the incident remains under investigation.

No charges have been filed at this time.

More information will be released as it becomes available.
