Mansfield High School to Honor Former Student Athletes at Spring 2026 Hall of Fame Induction

MANSFIELD — Superintendent Dr. Michelle McKeon, Principal Russ Booth and Athletic Director Timothy Selmon are pleased to announce the Mansfield High School Sports Hall of Fame’s spring 2026 inductees. The list includes four groups of siblings, one of them a set of twins, and two athletes who are being honored posthumously.

This Spring Class of 2026, selected by the Hall of Fame Committee, includes a total of 13 alumni athletes. The Hall of Fame Class includes former captains and Team MVP’s, state and league champions, all-stars and school record holders from seven different decades of Mansfield Athletics.

Inductees will be recognized at a banquet, starting with a cocktail reception at 4:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 16, at the Easton Country Club, 265 Purchase St.

Admission for additional guests is $50 per person, which includes a cocktail hour, dinner and a banquet. All are welcome to attend.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will celebrate the inductions of athletes from winter and spring sports, including ice hockey, gymnastics, track and field, tennis, lacrosse, baseball and softball.

“This Spring Class of 2026 is a group that shows that Mansfield Athletics is a family,” said Athletic Director Selmon. “It’s a group that includes brothers, and sisters, and generations of athletes spanning from the Class of 1941 to the Class of 2012. We congratulate all of them for their contributions to this athletics program and to this community.”

“I’d like to congratulate all of these 13 Mansfield High School athletes and welcome each of them to the Mansfield High School All Sports Hall of Fame,” Principal Booth said. “This is such a talented group of amazing competitors. It’s an honor to highlight their legacy here at Mansfield High School.”

“We are so proud to recognize the Spring Class of 2026 inductees to the Mansfield High School Sports Hall of Fame,” said Superintendent Dr. McKeon. “Our athletics program is an immense source of pride for our community, and our student-athletes exemplify Mansfield’s commitment to teamwork and excellence. It’s great to see everyone return for this special event to recognize them for their Hall of Fame-level accomplishments as Mansfield High School student-athletes.”

Ice Hockey

  • Ryan Kershaw, Class of 2008 

Gymnastics

  • Michelle Ivanoski-McCormack, Class of 2012

Girls Track and Field

  • Lorna Barrett, Class of 1987
  • Sybil Barrett, Class of 1992

Boys Track and Field

  • Kerry Taylor, Class of 1995 (previously inducted for football)

Tennis

  • Jessica Roussell-Skrine, Class of 2001

Lacrosse

  •  Melissa DiPierro, Class of 2006
  •  Blayne Kelley-Taylor, Class of 2012

Baseball

  •  Kevin Sliney, Class of 1984
  •  Donald Hill, Class of 1942
  •  Roger Buck, Class of 1945

Softball

  •  Lisa Zogalis, Class of 2002
  •  Chrissy Zogalis, Class of 2002
  •  Roger Buck, Class of 1945

Fast facts:

  • Blayne Kelley-Taylor is the younger brother of Track and Field inductee Kerry Taylor. Lisa Zogalis and Chrissy Zogalis are twins.
  • The Spring 2026 inductees will be traveling from all over the country for the induction ceremony, including from California, Texas, Oregon, New York and North Carolina.
  • Baseball players Donald Hill, Class of 1942, and Roger Buck, Class of 1945, will be awarded a spot in the Mansfield High School Sports Hall of Fame posthumously. Hill’s award will be accepted by his family members, all of them alumni of Mansfield High School, while Roger Buck’s award will be accepted by his wife Muriel, a 1946 graduate of Mansfield High School, along with several of his children.
