NORFOLK — The Town of Norfolk Department of Public Works is pleased to announce the start of the construction project on Seekonk Street, from Main Street to the railroad crossing.
This initiative will focus on essential infrastructure enhancements, which include replacing aged culvert pipes, the water main, and water services along Seekonk Street.
Construction began Thursday, March 20, and will continue over the next few months. Initially, the work will have a limited impact on residents and traffic. However, a full road closure will be necessary after the school summer break begins in June. The project is planned to be completed early to mid-September.
