GLOUCESTER — Interim Police Chief Michael Williams reports that the Gloucester Police Department is investigating a stolen motor vehicle.
On Friday, April 10, at about 2:18 a.m., a resident walked into the Gloucester Police Station to report that his 2022 Chevy Silverado was stolen from his driveway.
Gloucester Police issued an alert to area agencies, giving a description of the vehicle and license plate.
At about 11:04 a.m., Gloucester Police were notified that the vehicle had been recovered by Peabody Police in Brown’s Pond. The Peabody Fire Department and Beverly Dive Team were able to recover the vehicle from the pond.
The Gloucester Police Department is actively investigating this incident.
