UPDATE: Tyngsborough Police Department Locates Missing 24-Year-Old Man

TYNGSBOROUGH — The Tyngsborough Police Department has located a 24-year-old man who had been missing for more than 24 hours in the area of Wilson’s Quarry.

The individual was found safe on Thursday morning.

The Tyngsborough Police Department extends its sincere thanks to all who assisted in the search including: the Tyngsborough Fire Department, the Massachusetts Environmental Police, the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing and Dive Team, the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office for providing their Mobile Command Unit, and the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) for supplying K9, Drone, and Regional Response Teams utilizing mountain bikes, ATVs, and coordinated grid searches on foot.

The Tyngsborough Police Department is also grateful to community members for their support throughout the search.

“I truly appreciate our partnerships and regional collaboratives, which mean the Tyngsborough Police Department is able to bring important resources and support to our community when they are needed,” said Chief Shaun Woods.

The Tyngsborough Police Department will be releasing no further information at this time.
