ARLINGTON — Police Chief Julie Flaherty reports that the Arlington Police Department is investigating a report that a boy was approached by a suspicious vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.
The boy, age 11, told police that at approximately 3:10 p.m., he was walking home from a Broadway convenience store when he was approached on Waldo Road by a four-door sedan and a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black facemask tried to grab his arm. The man did not say anything, and the boy was able to run away.
The incident is under investigation by the Arlington Police Department. Anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious is urged to contact the Arlington Police Department at 781-643-1212.
