TEWKSBURY – Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged a Tewksbury man with taking photographs of an unsuspecting woman in a bathroom at a local business.
PRAJWOL CHAULAGAIN, AGE 23, OF TEWKSBURY, was arrested and charged with:
- Photographing an Unsuspecting Nude Person
- Disorderly Conduct
On Saturday, July 12, at approximately 7:15 p.m., Tewksbury Police were called to a business on Main Street for a report of a man taking pictures of a woman in the women’s bathroom.
Officers arrived to find a distraught victim and several witnesses who reported that a male held a camera under a stall in the woman’s bathroom, and started taking photographs of a woman as she used the bathroom. The male then fled the bathroom when the victim screamed.
An on-scene investigation identified CHAULAGAIN, who remained at the scene, as the individual who was in the women’s bathroom. CHAULAGAIN was taken into custody without incident.
CHAULAGAIN is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Lowell District Court.
These are allegations. All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
