MEDWAY — Athletic Director Jeff Parcells and Principal John Murray are proud to celebrate three student-athletes who signed their commitment letters to play college sports during a Spring Athletic Commitment Ceremony held at Medway High School on Thursday, May 8.

The student-athletes were joined by their families as they signed their commitment letters during the ceremony.

The three student-athletes from Medway High School will all be continuing their academic and athletic journeys at the NCAA Division III level.

Zachary Arnpriester signed his commitment letters to play lacrosse for Mass Maritime Academy, where he plans to study marine transportation and join the U.S. Navy Reserves.

Matthew Olynciw signed his commitment letters to play baseball at the University of Maine at Farmington. Olynciw is currently undecided about his field of study.

Addie Lynn signed her commitment letters to play volleyball at Framingham State University, where she will study nutrition.

Athletic Director Jeff Parcells served as emcee for the ceremony, wishing the students well as they prepare to move onto college.

“We are all truly proud to celebrate these exciting milestones in the lives of three of our outstanding Medway High School student-athletes,” said Athletic Director Parcells. “We honor their hard work, dedication, and passion, which have not only made them leaders on the field but also in our school community. Zachary, Matthew and Addie will undoubtedly continue to represent our school with pride, excellence, and sportsmanship. Please join me in congratulating these remarkable individuals as they take this next step in their athletic and academic careers.”

The signing ceremony for Zachary, Matthew and Addie follows another held in November 2024 for Medway High School’s Priya Bedard, Shae O’Neill and Ella Taylor. Priya will play softball at the University of Hartford; Shae will play field hockey at Roger Williams University; and Ella will play women’s lacrosse at Salve Regina University.

Principal John Murray also congratulated Zachary, Matthew and Addie for making their commitments and wished them well as they move onto collegiate sports.

“I want to congratulate these three graduating seniors for all they have accomplished at Medway High School and for signing their acceptance letters, making their commitment to continue playing their sports at the college level,” Principal Murray said. “They have each shown dedication to their academics and athletics during their time at Medway High School, and I know they will continue to succeed as they make the transition into the next phase of their lives. We are all excited to see them grow as athletes and individuals. We wish them all the best as they move onto the next level.”
