ATTLEBORO — Chief Scott T. Lachance reports that the Attleboro Fire Department responded after a vehicle crashed into a building Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., Attleboro Fire was dispatched to Zahara Cannabis Dispensary, 70 Frank Mossberg Drive, for a report of a car that crashed into the building.

Upon arrival, first responders found a Nissan Pathfinder that had crashed through a wall and came to a stop about 15 feet into the store.

The operator and sole occupant, a 62-year-old woman from Attleboro, was injured, as were two people inside the store. They all were transported to a local hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Attleboro Police Department also responded and is investigating the crash.

A City Building Inspector was called to the scene, and following an inspection determined the building is structurally sound.

Firefighters used a hydraulic cutting tool to cut away parts of the building to facilitate removal of the car by a tow truck.
