WOBURN — Principal Kristen Maloney is pleased to share that Hurld Wyman Elementary School students recently performed for the entire school and their parents in productions of “Twisted Wizard.”
26 Hurld Wyman students in Grades 3-5 performed in “Twisted Wizard” — a rendition of “The Wizard of Oz” — for the entire school on March 12 and their families on March 13.

Hurld Wyman Drama Club Advisors Carol Carney and Marlene Faulkingham wrote the play and developed original choreography for the show. Students signed up in January to participate and dedicated about 20 hours outside of school to practice their lines and choreography in preparation for the show.
“It was wonderful to see the students up on stage, performing with such enthusiasm and courage in front of their peers,” said Principal Maloney. “We are all very proud of them for their dedication in making this production a success!”
