CANTON, MA — Community members of all ages are invited to attend the Paul Revere Heritage Site’s third annual “Sweets and Treats” holiday fair next month.
The “Sweets and Treats” holiday fair will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Events will take place on all three levels of the Yellow Barn, 2 Rolling Mill Way, and on the second floor of the Copper Rolling Mill, 4 Rolling Mill Way.
For the second year in a row, the event will feature a Gingerbread Construction Contest. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the winners in “Best Traditional Design” and “Best Creative Design.” Prizes will be awarded to winners in each age group.
Those who wish to participate in the contest can sign up online by Friday, Nov. 24. Participants of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
The “Sweets and Treats” holiday fair will also feature a variety of family-friendly activities including cookie decorating, hat and ornament decorating and photo opportunities with Grandma Sugar, played by Volunteer Patricia Cohen.
Over two dozen vendors will be in attendance, selling food, crafts, art, jewelry and
more.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy free hot cocoa, provided by the Paul Revere Heritage Site, and explore the SITE-Inspired community art exhibit on the second floor of the Yellow Barn.
