CANTON, MA — The Revere & Son Heritage Trust is excited to share the success of the inaugural Masquerade Gala, raising over $30,000 in support of the Paul Revere Heritage Site and Paul Revere Museum of Discovery and Innovation.
On Saturday, Nov. 4, approximately 170 community members attended the fun-filled Masquerade Gala night at the Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton. Rep. William Galvin, Sen. Paul Feeney, Commissioner Richard Staiti, Sen. Walter Timilty, and Select Board Members Thomas Theodore, Michael Loughran and John R. McCourt were all in attendance.
The evening featured a sit-down dinner, musical entertainment provided by DJ Gary Titus, a caricaturist, a silent auction and several raffle contests. A video presentation was also displayed during the Gala that showed Paul Revere’s establishment of America’s Copper industry at the site and included preliminary visuals of the 2025 museum design plan.
Raffles included a seven-night stay at Aruba’s La Cabana Resort, a signed Rob Gronkowski football helmet, and many other great prizes. Select Board member Thomas Theodore, winner of the 50/50 raffle, generously donated his prize to the Paul Revere Museum of Discovery and Innovation building fund.
Many volunteers contributed to the Gala, including Cheryl Freedman who prepared centerpieces for the tables, Daniel Neff provided signature cocktails and Blue Hills Regional Technical School culinary students made pastries for attendees to enjoy.
All ticket proceeds benefited the Paul Revere Heritage Site in Canton, a nine-acre green in Canton and the future Paul Revere Museum of Discovery and Innovation, which is set to open in 2025.
“The Masquerade Gala was a wonderful time to connect with our community members and supporters,” said Revere & Son Heritage Trust Board Member Stephen Schottenfeld. “We are thankful to all of the volunteers who generously donated their time and effort into making this event a success.”
