EAST KINGSTON – Chief Ed Warren and the East Kingston Fire Department invite residents to attend its free Community Day on Saturday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Firefighters will give attendees tours of the station, located at 5 Main St., as well as offering free blood pressure and temperature checks.
Residents can have a child safety seat installed, as well as have a seat inspected by a trained installer.
The Department also will hand out magnetic “files of life,” which can hold important medical information that assists first responders when every second counts.
Free food and drinks will be available.
