NEWBURYPORT — Fire Chief Stephen H. Bradbury III reports that Newburyport Fire Department has overseen the final removal of reactive chemicals from the Seqens plant on Opportunity Way Wednesday.
The facility will now be turned over the private contractors, under the authority of the Newburyport Building Department.
Demolition crews are expected to arrive late this week.
The Newburyport Fire Department incident is now concluded. The Newburyport Building Department may issue further updates on this thread if necessary.
