STOUGHTON — Acting Police Chief Brian Holmes is pleased to announce that the Stoughton Police Department will once again be offering its annual haunted house event this year.
WHEN
Saturday, Oct. 29. Doors open at 11 a.m. for a scaled-down version for families with small children and those with special or sensory needs. Full event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Stoughton Police Station, 26 Rose St.
WHAT
In conjunction with the Stoughton Recreation Department and Maxx Training Center, the Stoughton Police Department is excited to announce the return of its haunted house. The annual event has not been held since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but is returning in full this year.
As part of the event, the Stoughton Police Station is transformed into a haunted house, an annual tradition known as the “Nightmare on Rose Street.” Stoughton Police officers help run the event and dress up in various scary costumes for those in attendance.
The event will be held rain or shine. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
“Our annual haunted house is a terrific community tradition that we’ve had to put on hold for the past few years, so we are thrilled to once again open our doors and invite the public in to see our station in this very unique way,” Acting Chief Holmes said. “Our officers and staff do a great job preparing the station and we are ready to welcome residents of all ages on Saturday.”
