(Update 3:30 p.m.– Resident Found Safe)*Missing Person* Burlington Police Provide Update on Search for Missing Woman

BURLINGTON — Chief Michael Kent reports that the Burlington Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a Burlington woman last seen on Friday.

UPDATE 3:30 p.m.– the missing person has been found safe and unharmed.

BURLINGTON — Chief Michael Kent reports that the Burlington Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a Burlington woman last seen on Friday.

Teresa Osborne, 62, of Burlington, was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. yesterday and suffers from memory impairment. She was reported missing at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Osborne is described as being approximately five feet, five inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has brown hair. She was last seen wearing dark pants and either a two toned jacket with light long sleeves or a long sleeved, light colored jacket and a dark colored vest.

Burlington Police, the North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) K9 Unit and the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing conducted a search of the town common area on Friday, but did not locate Osborne. The search was ended at 9:30 p.m.

Burlington Police continue to actively investigate and urge anyone who may have seen Osborne or with information about her whereabouts to contact the department at 781-272-1212.
