(UPDATE 8:40 p.m. – Resident found safe) Groveland Police Seeking Missing Man with Dementia

GROVELAND — Chief Jeffrey T. Gillen reports that the Groveland Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a man with dementia who was reported missing earlier today.

UPDATE 8:40 p.m. — The missing resident has been found safe and unharmed.

GROVELAND — Chief Jeffrey T. Gillen reports that the Groveland Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a man with dementia who was reported missing earlier today.

John Gutta, 78, was last seen on School Street in Groveland at approximately 2 p.m. and has not been seen since. 

Gutta is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, slim-built, with white hair and a white beard. He was last seen wearing a Hawaiian-flower shirt, blue jeans and brown loafer shoes. He walks with a cane.

Anyone with information about Gutta’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Groveland Police Department at 978-521-1212.
