ACTON — Town Manager John Mangiaratti and Community Resources Coordinator Laura Ducharme would like to share information on a new rental assistance program available for Acton residents.
The Emergency Rental Assistance Program will provide temporary rental assistance in the form of a grant and will be administered through a collaboration with the Regional Housing Services Office (RHSO). The application window for the program will open on Monday, June 1.
The intent of this program will be to provide eligible households support to maintain their housing stability during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Acton Residents who are at or below 100% of the area median income (AMI), which is $119,000 for a family of four, are eligible to apply.
Initial program applications will be available for fourteen days from June 1, and subsequent applications may be accepted if funding allows.
More details will be provided with the application available June 1.
