Saugus Police Arrest Man for Indecent Assault
SAUGUS — Chief Ronald Giorgetti reports that the Saugus Police Department arrested a man for indecently assaulting a woman on Saturday evening.
TIMOTHY L. GILLESPIE, AGE 51, OF SAUGUS was charged with one count of Indecent Assault and Battery on a Person Age 14 or Over.
GILLESPIE was arrested after police were dispatched to the area of Jasper and Central streets at 6 p.m. Saturday.
GILLESPIE will be arraigned Tuesday in Lynn District Court.
Massachusetts law prohibits the Saugus Police Department from releasing any further details about this incident or investigation. Subsequent media inquiries should be directed to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office after arraignment Tuesday.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
