GEORGETOWN — Chief Donald C. Cudmore is pleased to welcome Officer Heather Lefebvre as a full-time officer for the Georgetown Police Department after her graduation from the Municipal Police Training Committee Full-time Police Academy in Randolph.

Officer Lefebvre graduated from the academy on June 6 and was recognized during a ceremony held at Brockton High School.

“I am confident that Officer Lefebvre will make a wonderful addition to our compliment of full-time officers,” said Chief Cudmore. “Her previous positions within the Georgetown Police Department have given her great experience to continue on to this new role and I wish her the best in this next part of her career.”

Officer Lefebvre first joined the Georgetown Police Department in 2012 as a reserve officer and has also worked as a full-time dispatcher. She was promoted to a full-time officer in January prior to starting at the police academy, and began her full-time shift on June 12.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Rivier University.
