Officer David Rosquete graduated from the Northern Essex Community College-Methuen Police Department Academy on Friday, July 14. During the graduation ceremony, he received an award from the academy for his service as class treasurer.

Officer Rosquete has served as a reserve dispatcher and reserve officer with the Georgetown Police Department since January 2014.

Prior to joining the force, Officer Rosquete earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in education from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. He currently resides in Amesbury with his family and enjoys running, hiking and traveling in his spare time. Officer Rosquete recently participated in the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run and plans on running the Boston Marathon in the spring.

“I am very excited to have Officer Rosquete back to work here in Georgetown as a full-time officer,” Chief Cudmore said. “He has excelled as a reserve officer and I know he will do well in this new role.”
