Saugus Police Department and Cops for Kids with Cancer to Give Donation to Family of Local Boy Battling  Lymphoblastic Lymphoma

SAUGUS — Police Chief Domenic J. DiMella announces that the Saugus Police Department, in conjunction with Cops for Kids with Cancer, will present a check to the family of a local boy who is engaged in a brave battle with Lymphoma.

  • The Cummings Family and 15-year-old Zachary, who was recently diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.

WHEN: 

Wednesday, June 21 at 10:30 a.m.

FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY:

Chief DiMella will make a presentation on behalf of cops for Kids with Cancer. A check for $5,000 will be presented to the Cummings family. Zachary has a treatable form of Lymphoma, but one of his parents has to stop working in order to take him to and from regular appointments at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital for treatments.

The Cummings family will be picked up at home by a Saugus police cruiser and should arrive by 10:45 a.m. at the Saugus Police Station.
