*Media Advisory* Littleton Fire Invites Residents to Fire Station Expansion Ceremony

LITTLETON — Fire Chief Scott Wodzinski is pleased to announce that the Littleton Fire Department will host a groundbreaking ceremony at the Foster Street fire station this weekend and invites the community to attend.

WHAT

The Littleton fire station will undergo a renovation and expansion over the next year in order to provide improved fire and emergency services to the Littleton community. The department will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony this Saturday and the residents are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Upgrades to the Foster Street station are set to be completed by December 2017. In the mean time, residents can stop by the Littleton Fire Department’s temporary headquarters at 80 Ayer Road.

“We are incredibly grateful to the residents of Littleton and everyone who helped to move our station renovation and expansion project forward,” Chief Wodzinski said. “This project will ensure that our facility can meet the expanding range of emergency services needed in this community well into the future. We hope you can join us for the ceremony this Saturday.”
