Bedford Police Investigating Bank Robbery

BEDFORD, N.H. — Chief John Bryfonski reports that the Bedford Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon.

Bedford Police responded at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19 for a reported robbery at the TD Bank on South River Road. Upon arrival, officers determined, upon speaking with employees, that a woman walked into the bank and demanded money from a teller. She claimed to have a weapon, but none was shown. The suspect took a quantity of cash and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white female, in her early to mid 20s, 5’3″ to 5’5″ tall, with a thin build. She wore a black hat, gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and tennis shoes.

No one was injured during the robbery.
